The Sew and Sews are a group of church women and friends who meet once a month to share their sewing talents.
Their goal is to create homemade items to share as an outreach program. They have made clothing protectors for nursing home patients, are crocheting scarves for Christmas gifts for needy children and spent six months making a quilt that was auctioned off at the 2013 car show.
The Sew and Sews meet every second Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone interesting in sewing is invited to join the group. For more information, please call the church and leave a message for Donna.
